Julie Ross Dance Studio has been operating since 1986. The school has grown from having 50 students to over 200 students. It still offers the same high standards of teaching and many different styles of dance while still keeping up the current trends in dance. We are very proud of our reputation of providing a nurturing and positive environment where children and the dance enthusiasts can learn and be challenged by our very experienced and committed teachers.
We have many students in JFH, Hip Hop & Break classes for recreational dance, these are an ideal way to start your dance career however if you are keen and would like to learn the art and technical training of dance these classes are also available.
Also if you are interested in doing a private lesson for a solo for an eisteddfod you should contact your class teacher or the office and a time can be arranged. These are a great way of building your child’s skills and confidence.
Children that participate in Eisteddfod Performance classes have the opportunity to perform throughout the year at various functions & charities.
We hold an annual concert in early December at Sawtell RSL and involve all children that dance. We hire our costumes for the concert.
In 2008 a group of 48 students and family members travelled to the USA on an amazing adventure where the students danced at Disneyland, Universal Studios and attended dance workshops at the Edge Dance Studio in Hollywood.
